Grand opening for Scooter's Coffee in Tempe revealed. How to get BOGO drinks

A grand opening for Scooter's Coffee in Tempe was set for Aug. 9, with day long promotions planned for patrons, according to the Nebraska-based coffee-chain on Facebook.

Opening at 6 a.m., the grand opening of the Tempe location near Southern Avenue and Rural Road, brought a special buy one drink, get one drink free offer, limited to one offer per customer.

Free stickers would also be available with every order, while supplies last, according to the Facebook post.

In 2021, Scooter's Coffee announced a two-location franchise expansion into Arizona. "The suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona are a great market for our brand,” said Kelly Crummer, Scooter's senior director of franchise recruitment, in a news release.

Now there were nine Scooter's locations throughout Arizona, five of which were currently under construction, according to the company's store locator.

First opened in 1998 in Nebraska, Scooter's touted quick and reliable service, offering hot, iced and blended coffee based-drinks, smoothies and tea.

Scooter's also served food items like donuts and breakfast sandwiches, as seen in the company's full menu.

The Tempe Scooter's was located at 640 East Southern Avenue, in Tempe, between Culver's and Walmart. Regular hours were to-be-announced, but the location was opened on Aug. 9 from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
